GOOD: the main pool for kids and family, restaurant & bar were all good. Room was clean and well-managed. Staffs were all friendly. BAD: Free wifi was only activated in the lobby (reception area), and was not available in my room. An insect came in my room via the bottom of the door.

청결 불량. 바퀴벌레 나옴.
엄청 큰 바.퀴.벌.레가 나왔는데 리셉션에서 대수롭지 않게 생각해서 화남. 나에게 악어가 나온것도 아닌데 뭘 그리 놀라냐고 해서 몹시 황당함. 결국 다른 높은 매니저가 방을 바꿔줬으나, 방이 매우 낡음. 수영장은 좋은 편이지만, 다시 이용하고 싶지는 않음.

Lovely property, with multoiple pools, etc. a couple of restaurants onsite ,open early. Rooms large & had everything I needed. They even loaned me a power adapter. Vending machines for 2am munchies. Only downside was smoking area was terrible - no shade, infrequently picked-up (glasses, dishes, etc). Felt like a leper! Overall, highly recommend - I will stay there again.

This property was terrible! When we checked in. The room given to us has bugs walking in the bathroom, on the bed, on the floor, on the walls. I requested to change the room and they gave me a room which was just as bad. My wife got bitten by a bug and is in terrible pain. We told the desk staff the situation and all they said was sorry. They would not let us leave early from the hotel.

The staff at the Colonial Club was very helpful. Our air conditioner was making funny sounds and my husband commented on it. It was promptly taken care of. I asked for directions to a good restaurant and was given a few options. We appreciated that the reception desk was open longer than other hotels that we stayed at.

Staff were friendly and efficient, however, room 099 was next to the smokers area behind the bar! In addition the bar/cafe ac unit was on from 0600 to 220 hrs making life very noisy.

Property was located in jungle like atmosphere. Food was good but you could literally see daylight around the door frame which was convenient for cockroachs and ants.

Ein großes Resort in einem ruhigen Stadtteil von Cairns. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und weitläufig. Unser Zimmer war sauber, hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Da es im Erdgeschoss war, war es nicht sehr ruhig, da andere Gäste mit ihrem Gepäck und das Personal mit ihren Servicewagen rund um die Uhr vorbeigekommen sind. Die Getränke an der Bar sind sehr gut und günstig.

Nah am Flughafen Cairns, rund um die Uhr Check-in, tolle Poolanlage mit Sandstrand, Liegen etc, kurzer Weg zur Innenstadt.

Wouldn’t stay again.
It’s not really a resort. More like a motel with a swimming pool. Restaurant closed, pool bar closed, pizza place closed. Didn’t clean out room for 3 days just made the bed. Didn’t replenish teas/coffees/ milk toiletries. No outdoor space to sit in unless buying food at the other restaurant. Rooms extremely dated. No balcony or terrace but believe they had some rooms with but we weren’t offered to upgrade to these.

Affordable and family friendly
Great for families, we stayed 2 nights and my kids were in the pool all day. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the hotel was fully booked. Will stay again

Little bit far from the central but nice and relaxing environment. Pools are good for our kids age of 3, 6 and 9. Staff were kind enough to make our stay comfortable.

Very family friendly venue. It is an oldie, but very clean, great bar and cafe options. Staff friendly abd efficient. We had a huge and very comfy King bed!

The pool needs a lot more shade. A lot of people very sunburnt including us, trying to stay in the shade. The pizza bar should be open during the day for more affordable food options. The pool is very uneven on the bottom which you are warned about with signs but still have to be very careful. The rooms are older but comfortable. I would stay again if there were no other options but I wouldn’t rush back. Staff on the front counter were lovely at check in.

One night stay.
One night stay as close to the airport and National Park. No close by restaurants but the on-site restaurant food was reasonable quality and price. Main issue was people talking loudly way into the night in the area near the restaurant but they could be heard very clearly from the upstairs rooms.

Beautiful pools, garden areas. Food was plentiful and tasty , served quickly . Room was noisy - too many guests loud and inconsiderate late at night and early morning . Staff very efficient and responsive to issues .

We stayed here for one night, on arrival in Cairns from the UK. It is quite a large establishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and we had as good a nights rest as you can expect with raw jetlag. The pools are beautiful complete with beach curlews! No idea where they hide out during the day.
