“Everything was great at The Oak Tree Inn! Staff were wonderful (especially Kay) so friendly and welcoming! The pub was so nice with a cozy fire. Our food and drinks were great. Our room had a great view of the water and the sunset.”

“Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!”

“The room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice decor in the room. Evening meal food was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing, not cooked to the same standard of the evening food. Dog friendly. Huge carpark. Fabulous position with views over the bay. Just be aware its a mile past the centre of Helensburgh and it's a lovely walk into town.”
