I stayed for two nights. The first night was fine - quiet and seemed as if it would be a decent stay. However, the second night was the total opposite. The hotel has a “10:00 p.m. quiet policy” which is to be enforced nightly and is advertised on the property.
Unfortunately, during my second night stay someone was playing loud music (with a lot of bass) starting at 10:00 p.m. and I called the front desk. They said they would go on the floor and check it out. Approximately, 15 minutes after my call, the music got louder and I called the front desk again and the person said that someone went on my floor in the hall and didn’t hear anything. I shared with the front desk person that you will not hear the loud music if in the halls but when in my room. I offered for the person to come to the room and they said (in a condescending tone) they were not allowed to come in rooms since they were the only person on staff. I totally understood not being able to come in the room, however, I was concerned about how long I was going to hear the loud music. Needless to say, the loud music played until 11:30 p.m. and I didn’t get to sleep until after 1:00 p.m.
Therefore, I will never stay at this property (nor encourage others) again. While I was concerned about the loud music, what was more alarming to me was the lack of compassion and rudeness from the second front desk person. So while I cannot tell anyone where to spend their money and time, I can only share my truth.
