“It was a wonderful stay. Clean room, well functioning elevator, kind and helping staff. The neighborhood was safe and peaceful. Restaurants, convenience stores, and subway stations were close by, easy to approach on foot. Room was small but given the affordable price it was never a problem for me.”

“I was delighted that the property is uniquely Bostonian, tastefully decorated. The room is very clean, comfortable bed. It was very safe and pleasant to walk to parks, museums, market. Breakfast was excellent. Overall the house is very efficiently run. However, the bath towels could be better, they are old, stiff and yellow-colored. Considering the low cost of new a towel, I would throw them all away, replace with good quality WHITE towels. ”

“Staff are fantastic. Location is perfect for Harvard. Rooms and shared bathrooms are periodically cleaned. Breakfast is good with just enough options. Coffee and cookies served all day to guests. Lobby has desks if needed and luggage storage. Only complaints are that the neighbors can be loud (not something the B&B can control) and the overall place is a bit older. This gives it a great home-y feel but also means the pillows are flat as if they have been run over by a semi. If you want swanky...
