Where to stay in Camino

Every summer for the past 7 years close to our Anniversary, Lynn and I stay an extended weekend in the Placerville, California area located in the Sierra foothills. This year we stayed in the nearby Apple Hill. Apple Hill is renowned for its orchards, wineries, and farms. Although each farm has something different to offer, we enjoy the apple donuts and pies. Apple wines and beer are also available for tasting. This photo is on the farm we stayed this weekend. The farm grows Christmas Trees and has a wedding venue at this pond.

"Lovely place. Early in the morning can hear the river running & you can hear the forest. Access to the river. Approx 30mins from South Lake Tahoe. Will stay again. There are grilles in the premises."
