"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent, included yogurt, eggs, sausage, dry cereal, and a waffle maker as well as bagels and one type of muffins. To carafes of regular coffee no decaf. So good for your quick breakfast before you head out the door."

"Clean room and lobby area was decent! People getting in a huge fight screaming at each other up and down the hallway in the middle of the wasn't fun, and continental breakfast was less to be desired!. Waffles, bagles and toast was it. All in all it worked out for our needs."

"Gap the size of my middle finger in the door jam, so it barely latched. Toilet not even attached to the floor. Holes in the walls and shower wall. Fridge barely worked. Switched rooms. Broken TV in that room. Even after I called no maid service for 6 days. Worst customer service and management ever. "

"This place is elegant, and you feel the class as soon as you step thru the doors. Its nice they kept the historic hotel in such good shape for its age, along with newer amenities (rooms,restaurants/bars, shops, and even a spa). The only down side i found while staying was the trains that go by. They are loud, but its part of the reason the hotel was built back in 1875. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The port bar gave a nice ambiance of speakeasy era. Enjoyed a smoked old fashioned and delicious burger. Overall Id recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys history, or if your in town its definitely a place to check out."

"My room was dirty. The carpet had stains, there was mold, the sheets had stains and holes. I didn’t use the jacuzzi the room came with because there were dirty streaks in it. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. The towels had stains on them. The cabinets had broken doors."

"Very welcoming Lindsey was great checking us in!! Quiet comfortable and clean!! Morning staff was great ! Loved the personal touch of breakfast items being wrapped separately by the staff!! A plus for them"
