"We stayed in a family room on the top floor, which was a good size and had a lovely view of the cathedral. The pub is well located, it didn’t take us long to walk to the King’s mile shops and cathedral. It isn’t too far from the train station or Westgate park."

"We stayed at the Broome Park Hotel for a couple of nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff at reception were very good but there seemed to be a lack of staff in the dining/bar area which meant that the bar was quite often unmanned for long periods of time. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the second floor, unless you are pretty fit ask for a room on the first floor as the stairs to the upper floor was very daunting as they were so steep. "We loved the power of the shower. The hotel itself is set in an old building, and it showed with the creakiness of floorboards and thinness of walls, meaning you could hear conversations and movements in hallway and neighbouring rooms. Nice and close to the city centre (15 min walk to centre of high street) and good amount of onsite parking, which is a rare feature in Canterbury."
