Our host, Brian, had taken the trouble to recommend a local restaurant and even booked us a table where we could enjoy the magnificent sunset overlooking the valley. “We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful.”

We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. “Property is in an excellent location, right in the center of Stellenbosch, with easy access to restaurants, stores, etc. Property was clean, well kept and comfortable with good security. Communication from property managers was excellent. Would highly recommend this apartment to rent.”

“Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. ”
