Very disappointed. Bed linens were soiled, blood stains on the pillow cases. Walls had peeling paint. There was a musty smell. Only one elevator worked. Strong smell of cabs is from the dispensary across the street. There were several other guests complaining as well. We simply left and I wrote off the $289.00. Truly a miserable experience.

The hotel is dilapidated and unclean, with two elevators, one of which is inoperable and appears to have been out of service for a while. The room seemed as if it had not been properly cleaned for some time, with the bedding being particularly unclean, displaying black marks on the sheets and severe stains on the pillows. The toilet seat requires replacement, and the shower is prone to water buildup due to a blocked drain. Rust marks mar the metal door frames, and various stains blemish the walls. It is advisable for people to consider alternative accommodations if possible.

I wrote to both the property and Expedia regarding this matter. The facility was dirty, bathroom had issues and didn’t feel comfortable staying there. At midnight, I left the location to find another hotel.

The elevator was slow and the other was out of service. The alarm went off at 3 o'clock in the morning and no one answered at the front desk. The handle to turn on the shower was broken and hanging off. Other than that, we survived.

It was noisy, the smoke alarms in my room needed batteries so it was ringing all night, the bathroom was so filthy that i had to go get my own cleaning supplies to clean it properly since i was staying with my 4year old autistic daughter and her father. The sink had a black food container without a lid underneath it towards the back, you could see it while using the restroom, there were a uncomfortable amount of stains on walls, window curtains, and other furniture, i stayed in room 321. This stay was absolutely horrible and definitely not worth $96 a night.

Do not stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway again. This place positively REEKS of pot. This La Quinta has posted numerous signs “NO SMOKING” and the staff even said they tried to enforce it but, “they just don’t listen.” The breakfast area was a complete mess, with waffle mix all over the waffle iron and a child was using their fingers to put jelly on their waffle. Nasty.

Where to start!? Only one operational elevator, and it was ridiculously slow. The entire hotel smelled horrendous. So much so that the front desk was running two air fresheners. The sheets, pillow cases, and towels were all dirty when we arrived. I asked for a new pillow case to be brought up, but one never came. When we left for the day, I requested a complete swap-out of towels and linens, but that did not happen. I ended up getting one off a cart in the hallway. The towel rod in the bathroom was detached and hanging on one side. Things were just filthy. The bathroom door, the carpet between the bed, nightstand, and refrigerator all had not been cleaned in a long time. There was black mold on the sheer curtain on the window. There was a tiolet plunger sitting in the hallway for at least 24 hours. Did I mention the smell!? You've heard the saying you get what you pay for... this hotel should have been MUCH cheaper for that kind of experience!

The elevator was broken, there wasn't enough food put out for everyone to eat, and when asking staff to refill anything we were told "nope, come back try again tomorrow." The entire place reeked of weed so bad it was impossible to escape even in our room. The bedding was incredibly dingy, some bleech would go along way in helping with the how yellowed and stained all the bedding is. The shower curtain barely reached the edge of the tub so when showering the floor gets soaked. The tv was very small and not a smart tv, so don't plan on watchThe noise from the hallway and rooms around us lasted well past 1am 4/5 nights, and hotel staff couldn't be bothered to check it out or ask at minimum for the couple fighting to quiet down or leave. As for the area around the hotel...well, the guys speeding around, squealing their tires while wearing ski masks (at the end of April) trying to dodge the police and street cameras nearly taking out pedestrians, the 6 cops chacing a group of reckless cars, sirens and sketchy people hanging around every corner, on top of the lady at the front desk telling us at check-in to remove anything of value from our car and park as far away from the neighboring motel-6 as we can should have been our 1st clue! (And if that wasn't enough, when we saw that the nearby Golden Corral had a state trooper stationed at the doors & by the registers we should have known it was a rough area). Spend the extra money, stay somewhere else, it's worth it.

I’ve been here three times. The first time great excellent if you will. Second time had a little bump in the road got things fixed all good after that. Third time… horrible! when I come to visit Washington next year I won’t be staying here. Noises all night! People fighting, dogs barking. And my key card stopped working THREE TIMES. I went to the lady at the front desk she told me to wait a minute while she finish her text. Just unprofessional super disappointed. So much more happened but not enough characters for me to type it all.

Hotel room was dirty. Mold on the ceiling above the sink counter, shower handle was broken. Back of bathroom door dirty. Stains on the floor. Wooden floors not clean at all. White socks turned brown due to the floors not cleaned properly. Hallways stunk. Chairs in the breakfast area were so dirty and stained. Only 1 elevator was working. Didn’t feel safe in hotel during our stay after an incident that happened to other guests.

My room had to be changed TWICE. First one due to the shower handle being broken off, second one had 2 gigantic stains on the seats.

There were two elevators; one waa completely out of commission and the other was extremely slow. They really need attention. The hot breakfast did not taste good. The gal at the front desk seemed beyond bored, and not helpful. The only plus was that there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
