"This review is about the initial check in since I will never stay at this location again. Even though both Expedias website and the Hilton app for this hotel location states there is free parking - I was charged for parking. It’s the principal more than it is the fee. How do you arbitrarily charge someone for something that you literally have to search for on their website. That set the tone off wrong to begin with because it’s deceitful and bad business. Then we booked a king suite and was put in a 2 queen accessible room. When I called down to question - Arlen the front desk person continued her less than average customer service and let me know she doesn’t see that on her side - even though I have a receipt stating the room reserved. The hotel is full and they of course don’t have any rooms left. Lastly, the bedspread on one of the beds is dirty! I honestly do not understand how this hotel gets such high ratings… beware!!!"

"My room was moved to a "pet friendly room". I was ok with that until I went in the room. Pet friendly rooms should have a bordered platform under the box spring so cats cannot get under there. The material under the boxsprings were torn and half of it laid on the floor. Looked very tacky. Before I brought my cat in I looked under the beds with a flashlight. They were absolutely filthy with a sticky trap for bugs under each bed. If a cat put a paw in there to investigate a dead critter, its paw would stick to it and it would be painful to try and get it off. Therefore, I had to keep my cat in a pent up cage so he would not get dirty since I was there for a cat show. The beds were so old that when you went to lay down, you were in a deep indentation where everyone else had been sleeping. Very, very uncomfortable. The manager was not helpful at all. "No other rooms available" she said. I had reserved the room through a 3rd party, so not a good chance of getting my money back. She would not even give me a mop or broom to sweep under the bed. I will never stay at another La Quinta again. This is the second La Quinta that had a filthy room."

"The room was spacious, decorated very nicely, comfortable and clean! The free breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and the location was great! The staff was very friendly and professional."

"Hotels.com listed this property as having shuttle service to the airport which it did not. Shame on them for not having up to date records. Ended up having to use Uber which we had not planned on. Hotel is very nice, will not use Hotels.com again"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RT Lodge. Staff was fantastic! They were all well put together polite and were there to help you with anything that you needed. The restaurant was delicious and had new things for us to try! The Lodge is nestled in the woods in Maryville, it was a great location that made you feel away when you were in the city."

"The apartment was lovely and super clean. The owner had included many nice touches like yoga mats, some hand weights, a few snacks and products in bathroom. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the pull out couch which was not very comfortable for my 18 yr old son. I think it would be fine for young kids. Of course pull out couches are not made to be super comfy so not a big deal. The location was very convenient to downtown and college. "
