The hotel was located just outside the Cardiff Central railway station and very close to the city center and the castle. The room was nice and clean and the fridge was working nicely. Breakfast was superb.

The hotel is located very close to the train station, as well as only a 5 minute walk from the shopping centre. It is in a very ideal location, just on the edge of the nightlife, so it isn't as loud as other places may be. The room had comfortable beds, with clean sheets, as well as a working shower (with a door lock), iron & board, TV, and AC.

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, modern, and everything you could ask for. The only con is the tv doesn’t connect to wifi so you can’t watch and streaming services but apart from that everything was excellent.

The service at Clayton hotel was good. The staff was also helpful and polite. I Would definitely recommend staying at Clayton due to its excellent location within the city centre.

The hotel itself was nice but we had a problem whereby we could hear a couple in a room next door to us arguing, shouting and banging/knocking doors from 2am until 6am which meant we had a terrible night of sleep.

Hotel was clean but impersonal. There was just luke warm water (not hot at all) the lifts were always full and always slow) Took the emergency stairwell instead and it was dirty and neglected. Not busting to go back based on my first visit

Great reception at the hotel , quick and easy check in . Very helpful if I needed anything like directions , taxi recommendations to eat. . Room had just been refurbished so very nice . Great location to the station and Main Street for dining , pubs and a couple of supermarkets. Would stay again

Excellent service
The hotel was lovely and very helpful staff. Had trouble with noisy neighbours on the first night and the staff were very helpful and accommodating to us in sorting everything out.

Bed was small, not a double.
Bed was small, think it was a 4ft small double which affected our sleep. Mattress was comfy. Breakfast was average. If we were to stay here again I wouldn't pay for the breakfast. Service was good, staff friendly and room was clean.

Visit for GiG at Utilita Arena.
Staying in Cardiff for the Noel Gallagher Highflying Birds GiG. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel,close to the Arena, and for xmas shopping.

Amazing area as it is walking distance from everything. However our room was fairly dirty this time. Room felt like it had been hoovered and marks all over the room. The shower was a poor quality and didn’t have any pressure. Need to upgrade on toilet paper as it was too thin. Stayed before and it was great, but this time was slightly disappointing
