Room was amazing! Spotless and one of the most comfortable beds ever. Staff were beyond nice and helpful. This was the classic pub with rooms and it didn’t disappoint at all!! I hope to go back and stay again!

Lovely overnight winter stay. Hotel and rooms are spotless. Comfy bed with quality bedding, everything felt of good quality. Excellent shower and modern bathroom. We chose the Black Lion as we prefer to stay and eat in establishments that do not allow dogs and there aren't many now ( I know some people would disagree and want to take their dogs everywhere but we all need a place we can feel comfortable in and every other venue in town seems to accept dogs now so dog owners have plenty of options). We had a meal in the bar which was excellent quality and breakfast was included in our stay with plenty of choices available. Attention to detail in the refurb of the building is a credit to the owners and staff. It is just a beautiful building! Last but not least every member of staff we met were friendly, engaging and professional so all in all a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend. Hospitality like it used to be!

Helpful and friendly staff, great vegan breakfast, clean and inviting spacious room. Right in the centre of Cardigan and overnight parking in pay and display car park right behind it, just a £1 for overnight parking!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Lion. From the moment we walked through the door, we were made welcome and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was tastefully decorated, specious and clean. The food served was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.
