“Caravogue House is a lovely gem in Trim. It’s within walking distance to town center and trim castle. The house itself is lovely and has private off street parking. Everything was very clean and the owners are super friendly. We had a family room which was perfect for us and our two teenaged children. Private bathroom with a great strong and hot shower. Breakfast was made to order and tasted amazing. It was a perfect place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning. A perfect wrap up...

“Had a 2 night stay at the Trim Castle Hotel. Wonderful hotel with fab views of the castle. Lovely food and generally a truly lovely stay. Just wish the rooftop thermal pools had been open but it’s not ready until June. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you”

“Outside the room window was an air conditioning unit, or something similar, that made a 24/7 noise that would remind you of a tumble dryer constantly running. When reported to staff, they looked amazed that someone would have the audacity to complain about their hotel and nothing was done. First night , the lift broke down, breakfast...NO brown sauce available. Might seem trivial re. sauce, however, small things add up. Still awaiting a reply from hotel, as I recieved an email from them to...

“After crossing what seems like a centuries old stone bridge you take a long drive along sheep and cow pastures before arriving at a set of separate accommodations. The enterior design is spacious and modern and well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. It was delightful!”

“The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby.”

“We rented a house attached to the resort and it was fabulous. It slept 9 and the rooms all had bathrooms attached. Kitchen, laundry, living room and a small backyard for the toddler. We had full access to the hotel's facilities and used the pool a lot. It was great. No complaints . The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would book this again and not hesitate ”
