I loved staying at Casa Carolina!! We stayed in a corner balcony suite just a cross street from Plaza de la Proclamacion. We had a nice view for enjoying the daily afternoon dance group show. The city view from the rooftop was also a great amenity in addition tho the pool and bar. I had a relaxing massage with a complementary matcha latte from the coffe bar. I had a great weekend with my family there and I just wished there was a gym facility to make the most of a wellness weekend.

I had an amazing stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable — the AC worked perfectly, which was a huge plus. I felt completely safe throughout my time here, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A big shout out to Heidy, Franklin, and Chris for their outstanding customer service — they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend. Perfect location!!! Love this place!!!

Casa Carolina is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Cartagena’s Old City. The location is unbeatable—you can walk everywhere and never need an Uber. With only 15 rooms, it feels like staying in a private home, and the pool is gorgeous. The staff and service were amazing—truly one of the highlights of our stay. A few things to note: the wellness-style menu is healthy but doesn’t offer many snack options. Street performers outside (especially drummers) can be very loud at night, though they’re usually gone by 11 PM. At checkout, they asked for a 10% tip on the entire stay, which felt a little uncomfortable—we only tipped on food and beverage. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. We would definitely stay again for the location, the charm, and the incredible staff.

Casa Carolina is niet zomaar een hotel, het is een belevenis. Het hotel heeft een eeuwenoude geschiedenis en dat is op veel plekken nog goed te zien. Onze kamer was comfortabel met een fijn groot bed en leuke details. Het is zeer centraal gelegen, maar in de kamer hoor je geen geluiden van buiten. Het ontbijt was heerlijk.
