“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”

“The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...

“Great location, but the hotel desperately needs updating. The staff were not very welcoming, they looked disinterested and not very helpful. Our room had an unpleasant smell when we walked in. The floorboards in the room above us constantly squeaked when people walked about which disturbed our sleep. “The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.”
