Comfort Suites Chincoteague Island Bayfront Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean and spacious. The beds are really comfortable. The balconies are beautiful to sit out on and to look over the water. All of the staff were very nice and pleasant to work with. The indoor pool and hot tub was open from 5 AM until 11 PM. This was so convenient because we would get back later in the evening and could still swim. Pretty good free breakfast and good coffee. Definitely will stay again."
"Absolutely not for us, but were large people or if you're disabled this could be a problem! 1) climbing up onto the unit from the dock was horrible (we had up to a 2 foot step up and had to crawl up into the unit). 2) the bedroom barely has room on the sides to get into the bed. 3) stove was conduction but the pans weren't. 4) hot water when showering didn't remain hot (worst than our camper). The concept was great but obviously it's not for us."

8/10 Good
"Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were super attentive and incredibly helpful. My husband and I were looking for moderately priced, casual, local seafood and Ellie gave us THE BEST recommendation. Captain Zach's was fire!! Thank you! Hotel had gorgeous nautical decor and was clean and updated. Room was wonderful. Plenty of parking. Everything we needed and would expect. Mini fridge/freezer combo a plus. View from our 1st floor patio was lovely and we enjoyed the view of the bay at sunset. We left our room and walked a bit around the dock area behind the building for a few minutes this was great. Only thing that could use improvement was the included breakfast. Sausage was good, but eggs were a bit bland, and pancake was rubbery. Also no bagels. Would recommend adding bagels as an option and maybe consider doing French toast instead of those pancakes, or maybe little waffles? There are a lot of creative ways this could be improved. Overall experience was very good though. We would recommend and return again😊."
"The room was clean and the parking was fine. The room had one little desk and a swivel desk chair. There was no place to put things down except the floor. There was no place to sit except the bed. The bathroom fixtures are so old the finishes are worn off. The tub doesn't drain unless you manually pull up the stopper - water up to your ankles. The shower head is 20 years old. Only one little garbage pail in the bathroom. Unless I hear of a reno I will not stay there again. So disappointing for a place that we really enjoyed years ago. Hilton is supposed to be better than this."
