โA well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. โ

โI arrived quite late and went into the pub downstairs to ask how to access the hotel. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and walked me round to the entrance and explained everything to me thoroughly, despite the fact it was horrible weather outside. I was on the top floor and the room was extremely clean, with a roll top bath and extremely comfortable bed. I loved the fact they even have Oatly milk with the tea tray, something most expensive hotels don't have, nevermind a room...

โThe hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.โ

The room was spacious, the hotel is clean, and the staff are lovely. Having a mini kitchen is really helpful, and there's a shop almost next door. Plus, there was a social happy hour with complimentary drinks and nibbles.
It's a good view overlooking the water, but you can hear the traffic from the road on the other side. I could also hear a hairdryer in another room when I was in the corridor. But my usual earplugs meant I...

โa typical city centre budget chain hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows, and a nice fresh new feel to it.
For price paid my only criticism would be a design that does not provide much storage space - even budget travellers bring extra clothes with them!!โ

โTotal stay experience was wonderful. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel location is central to and walkable for everything (castle, shopping, restaurants, etc), plus is clean and well maintained. The room is easily accessible, comfortable, and located within the hotel for a quiet stay. โ
