“The general manager at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Property was very clean and well maintained.”

“Too much time wasted. If you want a rating pay me.”

“Room was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful though it wasn’t always easy to Find someone to help at the bar.”

“This hotel is not like a normal hotel. Their overnight worker was in a bathrobe. The pool deck needs to be checked for compliance. It is not slip resistant. My daughter got hurt just stepping out of the pool. I would not recommend to anyone with kids. Won't be ever going back.”

“Very attentive front desk staff. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Very clean property. Great choices in the included breakfast.”

“We were able to walk to the Iowa State Football game from the hotel. About a 30 minute walk. Helpful people. Breakfast wasn't huge but was appreciated”

“Nice place to stay in Ames.”

“The room was nice, but the curtains did not close all the way. Saw the neon of the hotel across the street all night. The bed was way too high. I had to almost jump up to get to it. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the night.”

“Very clean and friendly staff”

“Uncomfortable mattress hard”

“We were staying there two nights so I requested a first floor room when we checked in and they said they didn’t have any available. Seemed strange when the motel didn’t seem busy at all. No one was usually at the front desk either since they weren’t busy. The bathroom had rusty faucet and no Kleenex anywhere in the room. Some of the walls in the motel needed patching and fresh paint.”

“The property was very easy to locate. In the area we were going to be spending time. Easy check-in. Late hours open for being able to use the pool! Good breakfast. We ate closer to finishing time but there was enough food even though no staff was attending. The regular coffee pot was all but dry, A lot of pumping to fill the cup. They seemed serious about recycling! Liked that! Comfortable bed! Slept well even though being close to Interstate and 4 lane highways.”

“I loved that it had the comfort of being in an apartment/condominium!”

“Staff helped me on a couple different outta the box requests. Hot Breakfast was great , laundry facilities great , BED COMFY . Exceeded expectations and I bought a 4 hr late checkout for $30 cuz I needed a nap . Great experience”
