“Noisy rooms. We could hear the conversation from either the room below or next door. Also, avoid the room next to the staff supply room - they run an incredibly loud machine rather early (washing machine?) I suspect going through Expedia or other websites rather than the Inn itself results in getting the worst rooms of the class booked. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. “They were very friendly and communicative throughout our stay. The property was well kept and easy to navigate with our dog. The only challenge for us was the vinyl flooring inside the room that our dog was slipping on and he lightly injured his leg trying to get back up. We had brought a large pad and blanket for him to walk on, and just used those to try and make him comfortable. “We had a pleasant stay at Coast Riders Inn. The staff was friendly, very accommodating for our late check in. The property was on a nice location, on the roadside and close to the Hearst castle. The had a nice breakfast. The rooms were a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Espoaftwr a long winding coastal drive.”
