“Beautiful historic home in lovely neighborhood. Close to highway and downtown attractions. Very welcoming and friendly.”

“It was a lovely stay. The hosts were a great couple.”

“The Prairie Guest House was an absolute pleasure to stay. Staff was friendly, place was clean, and breakfast was a delight. I would come again.”

“Very warm and cozy. Breakfast was really good! Thank you for a good service :)”

“It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.”

“Really enjoyed our stay! Our host was an excellent chef! She also gave us some cool information about the area and her family. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!”

“Being a bird watcher I enjoyed the bird feeders outside the sliding glass door. The sliding door was difficult to open and close. The owner watched us in a kind of an uncomfortable way pointing out that he had cameras. The breakfast was very nice”

“Just a cozy, wonderful experience overall. Don’t pass up the free breakfast if you stay there on the weekend!”

“Awesome”

“I really enjoyed my stay there I will definitely be back if I’m in the area friendly staff excellent service and breakfast quite and peaceful nice place for a little getaway”

“Lots of choices for breakfast and was brought to your room. Received a free upgrade which was a nice surprise”

“Bed looked like it was slept in... Thermostat was locked and un-adjustable... No drinking water or breakfast or any food for that matter as advertised. No live TV (only paid apps tv were available (Was there during the World Series... not cool) But the coffee maker worked. Good work guys!”

“Extremely kind hostess who personally cooked and served a high quality breakfast every morning. Swiss Family Robinson Room, on 4th level of a house on a hill, was beautiful and very comfortable, especially with windows open on cool October nights;”

“Charles is a personable and well-informed innkeeper. The house, bedrooms, and common areas were all warm and inviting. Lovely decor throughout. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.”
