“Clean place, great host, close to the city”

“This was a most spectacular and breathtaking place to stay. We got the top view. A bit of a hike up but so worth it. We got to lay in bed and look out to the stars, daybreak and volcanos. From the balcony we could see the lake. I loved the open private bathroom and our own sitting area. Definitely glamping. The next surprise was the restaurant there. Like having your own private chef. My husband always finds the most amazing places to stay. So friendly and loved the dogs. ”

“The lake was so beautiful. The staff was incredibly nice and the surrounding area is serene. It is off the main road, so you lose the noise of the busy street but keep the proximity. The neighbors are also so sweet. Kayaks are available on the property and they offered breakfast. The gentleman at the property helped carry our bags when we came in and helped us get to where we needed for our shuttle when we were leaving. 10/10 recommend!!!!”

“Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay.”

“Amazing location and room! It was perfect for everything you need. Having the second floor with a little balcony made it feel like you were in the jingle. The doors open all the way and it’s like indoor outdoor living. Absolutely perfect!”

“Couldn’t have had a better stay in Panajachel. This B&B was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me set up tours and transfers before I even arrived onsite. I stayed in the Quetzal Yurt. It was spacious and clean. This yurt has the best views by far. There are two large patios on two different levels. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and there were many choices in addition to the standard breakfast which is included. We had dinner at Al Jouri restaurant...

“Check in policy is unclear. The cash policy is listed in FAQ but not noted in the auto message after booking or clearly displayed. It is also misleading when you’re required to leave a credit card for booking. Upon arrival I was told I had to make multiple transactions and my credit card company flagged it as fraud. I had use my limited international cellular service to contact customer service to resolve the issue. Then my room was infested with ants! They were in my bed and suitcase. I had to...
