โBeautiful property with very well maintained rooms. Having a fireplace was super lovely and the precooked meals available to purchase were amazing โ
โyou can truly feel the nature there! you can see wild animals, it was very unique and precious experience! info center of cradle mountain is very close, you can buy a vehicle pass there and go to dove lake :) must see place! dove lake! the accomodation is fully furnished and nicely decorated! great for family trip! โ
โBasic things that were neglected or done poorly
1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldnโt get in - enough said
2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows canโt be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on...

โWe came to Kentish Hills after being at Cradle Mountain, found it to be a peaceful, clean and comfortable space at a very affordable price-lots of room and helpful staff, Although there was no restaurant on site- great recommendations for both dinner and breakfast and the room had a well setup kitchen for our convenience- would definitely stay again.โ
โWe absolutely loved our stay at Cradle Highlander and wish we could have stayed longer than one night. It is such a charming place - we loved the cosiness of our cabin, especially the wood fire and comfy bed. We also enjoyed the peaceful surrounds and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make a nice dinner. If you're looking for an authentic wood cabin experience immersed in native bush, this is it!โ
โWe stayed in the Ironstone room, which was large, homely and had a great view of Cradle Mountain. It was easy to check in and very friendly staff. We booked the tomahawk steak dinner and it did not disappoint! The light breakfast consists of Muesli and yoghurt which was also a nice start to the day. We would highly recommend staying here and wish we had longer!โ
โOpen fire in a restored old cottage. Lots of Space and a fantastique view. Slight hiccup with hot water but owners most attentive about fixing or providing alternative. Few places in the world you can expรฉrience authentic accommodation on a working farm in the same family for two centuries!
