“What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!”

“Great location and room was perfect. Smart TV a nice touch. Contrary to what Hotel.com say, the hotel doesn't have parking so you need to park in the 24 hour car park a street away. Check in was confusing as you had to go to a different hotel across the road but it was fine. You also have to go there for breakfast.”

“Absolutely great place to stay if you're in Ilfracombe. Backs onto the very pretty harbour area, really good value breakfast and the pub is friendly, great beers but not noisy at all. Our room got a little warm and the mgt instantly upgraded us to a two-room suite opposite and the general service and friendliness of the team who manage the Royal Britannia would be a major reason for going back as well as the beautiful spots immediately around the hotel. “The setting of this BnB is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was perfect nothing fancy just exactly what you need, we specifically enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The room was part of a converted barn and really cosy. The host was lovely. ”

“Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...
