"Our stay at Mutianyu Great Wall Wangshanyuan Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. The family who runs the homestay is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly treat you like family.
The food was fantastic, especially the homemade dumplings and snacks, which were some of the best we had in China.
They were also very helpful in planning our trip, offering great itinerary recommendations to make sure we made the most of our visit. They even arranged transportation to the Forbidden City and our airport transfer at a very reasonable price, and the car was very comfortable.
The location is amazing — right next to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Our room even had Great Wall stones built into the walls, which made the experience feel even more unique and memorable.
Highly recommend staying here if you want a warm, authentic experience near the Great Wall."

"This hotel is overdue for repairs and remodeling -the carpet is so dirty that's disgusting ! In February when it's sunny outside the indoor temperature was so high that's suffocating ! And the only option for hotel guests? Open the window! Not sure what's wrong with their HVAC? "

"Most excellent service and resort. It was an experience of a lifetime. Staff went out of their way making sure everything was perfect from booking a driver to ensuring our next hotel had our information to book tourist events.

"Wonderful stuff, friendly and helpful.
The room was unacceptable: old, with ripped wallpaper, peeling paint, non working AC (the hotel wasn’t able to fix it and suggested to keep windows open), dated furniture, signs of heavy wear and tear everywhere, stained carpet with holes.
The mattress was extremely firm.
The bedding was clean. They supplied plenty of bottled water. "
