"Took my wife for an overnight trip for her birthday. We always drive by and said we should stay there sometime. We finally did and it was awesome! The place was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return"

"The service was excellent. We enjoyed the pool. No elevator to 2 nd floor so if handicapped must be on first floor Not a hotel for longer stays. Not near all the Charlevoix action. But we were here to be a part of the Antique Road Show so overnight was just perfect!"

Went to watch Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, 30 miles of trails from Kalkaska to Traverse City. Over 5000 riders/racers competing for prize money and trophies.Very exciting!

Many great local restaurants!The Charlevoix Pizza Company has amazing thin crisry crust chicken bacon ranch pizza. Pig's Eating Ribs has great shakes and bbq with sides. Smoke on the Water has great breakfast. Sour cream and lemon curd pancakes.

We went to Charlevoix for the Applefest. Even though the weather was less than ideal, everyone we met was open and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to visit this event again in the future.
