“The hotel is an old Georgian building and therefore reflected in the rooms and amenities. Lots of character and charm. However, this means no aircon and old fashioned door locks etc. They provide a fan but our room was still too warm. We stayed in April so the summer months could be tricky. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and lovely fluffy towels. Lots of tea and coffee. “Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room.
