We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our insider tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and discovering Rocheport in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a pleasure if you've got all the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and remember to bring a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and ankles moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
