"Modern hotel, took a quick minute to figure out lighting, A/C. Everything was great. Very nice place. Rooftop and lobby bar super nice. Only one minor complaint. My coffee maker wasn’t working so I went to the included breakfast to grab coffee. The host would not let me take coffee back to my room, my only option was to be seated and drink it in the restaurant. I had a teen alone in the room so I just went back to the room. Seemed very silly to not allow my to take coffee to my room. "

"I didn't use any amenities but the location is great, staff were very responsive and friendly. Cool old building. I found the light el train noise quite soothing to fall asleep and wake to."

"A great place to stay with good location and easily accessible to the train. Staff were wonderful and the hotel was beautiful and charming."

"The main manager was sooo rude . She needs more training & perhaps a new job if she is going to act like she hates her job so much. Also, charged us wrong for parking and wouldn’t reimburse per her being wrong. Other than that location is excellent ! The hotel itself is decent , would’ve expected more for a “4Star” hotel but not much complaints. Wouldn’t be my first choice but it’s not such a terrible choice either."

"If you have a car be prepared to pay 50/night for parking which is pretty common for all downtown properties. This property is affordable so it does offset the cost.fpr parking. Smaller rooms are perfect for solo traveler or a very close couple lookingfor an intimate space. The only other thing is you can hear the party crowd at 3AM on Saturday night after bar close but that might be common for downtown property. Great staff, awesome free coffee, ice water and bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwhich (small fee for breakfast sandwhich). Cute lobby. Great diner across street for lunch! Walgreens 1 minute away."

"The shower was moldy and clearly just not cleaned properly. The toilet looked like it had just been used prior to us entering the room and it was clear they had not vacuumed/swept prior to us arriving. I found a dark curly hair on my bedding (I’m blonde, straight hair). The location was good and the staff was kind."
