The location is amazing, right by the beautiful beach. All the amenities are great, multiple pools, sun lounges right on the beach, swim-up pool, decent prices at the bars and restaurants. Breakfast buffet very versatile and really good value. Several restaurants right outside the property. The gardens and pools and everything around is really well looked after by staff. Highly recommended!

Clean rooms, but even though it was a huge family room, 1 children’s bed was şn the master bedroom. Why? I do not know. The bed was not removable… breakfast was ok. Beach was lovely. Pools were very Nice. Also Nice Poolse with fresh coconuts and corn. Really nice. Proces were ok. Amazing tree after the lobby. Was great. Felt very jungle like and tropical as soon as you saw it.

We had a great stay overall and would definitely recommend it, especially for families. Staff & Grounds The staff were wonderful—extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. I was also really impressed by how much care and effort goes into maintaining the property; the lawns, gardens, and surrounding grounds were absolute perfection. Rooms & Facilities Pools & Location: The location is unbeatable, sitting right next to Bang Tao Beach. The selection of pools was fantastic, very well-maintained, and the kids absolutely loved them. Room: The room was completely fine for our needs. While it felt a little older, everything was clean, fully functional, and comfortable. Gym: The gym is on the basic side and feels somewhat dated—it could definitely use an upgrade. Breakfast Hiccup The only negative incident occurred on our first morning. My wife went down for breakfast with our children, and the restaurant presented a bill for two adults. When she questioned it, staff claimed I had already come down for breakfast earlier. She explained that wasn't true, and after some insistence, they corrected the charge. It was likely just a communication mix-up, but it left a slightly odd impression. Final Verdict: Despite that minor mix-up at breakfast, it was a wonderful experience with great hospitality, lovely grounds, and ideal beachfront access for a family getaway.

Great spot! Right on the beach! Stayed for 10 nights and plenty of things to do with the family! Massage on the beach were great! Meals at restaurants were very tasty. Staff friendly and nothing was too big of a deal

Great stay at the Sunwing

Brilliant spot for the family. Swimming pools are large it’s right on the beach. Rooms are spacious with lots of useful equipment for families. We were B&B and breakfast was good with lots of choice.

So impressed with the service, facilities customer service , attention to details and such a friendly and dedicated manager (Marcus) truly caring about his guests and staff!! Excellent beach getaway

The resort is entirely self-contained, with 8 pools, 3 bars, 2 restaurants, a gift shop, a medical clinic, laundry facilities, game equipment, and of course, a beautiful beach. The hotel staff are friendly and courteous. It was a great value for the money.

Noisy, bad location, the beach nearby was not nice, and the food was average at best. Maybe a good place for families with young kids - they had an active kids zone and free activities for kids. I wouldn’t recommend it for relaxation or luxury by any means.

This was the second year we enjoyed our holiday at Sunwing Bangtao and the whole family (2 adults, 2 kids 8 6years old) loved it. Pools were clean, staff is very helpful and friendly and all was clean. The hotel is just next to the beach and the area itself is a quite place with some restaurants, small shops in the near area. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice family beachfront resort . Excellent facilities and lovely staff with lots of alternative food options and 7/11 nearby But ,be aware ,it is a family resort so lots of loud kiddie activities ( think loudspeaker ) and screaming kids. Not so good for a romantic escape
