โIt was very cold in the hotel room, although I had set the temperature to be higher it was in vain. It was warmer in the corridor than in the roomโ
โThe property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. โ
โLovely place to stay. Our room (10) was very quiet. It was a bit warm but it is summer so to be expected. Bed was comfortable. Food was fantastic for brekkie. Lots of options and very generous. Lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. โ

โBeautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. โStayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)

Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
โThe location within the cathedral grounds is a special feature. Lovely to wander around in the evening and easy for the restaurants.
Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space. Overall a delightful experience.

โWe stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We canโt recommend this place enough. โ
