Check in; staff were, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
Bedroom was clean, space enough and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee etc and a good variety.
Bathroom clean, great shower and plenty of good quality toiletries.
Dining, good choice and well prepared. Staff polite, informative and attentive, but did not pester.
Breakfast, large varied choice and plenty of it.

“Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. “We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy.
The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it.

“Well its owned and on the cathedral property. Wow I did not know that. It was a unique experience and close to the main streets. It was a great place to sleep next to the cathedral. It was cool to go to breakfast and see a priest or other parishioner getting ready to start a conference or some other worthy activity, not that that was the exclusive attendance of the hotel.”
