"This is very old hotel, def not a 5 star hotel. Staffs are very kind and responsive to any need you might have. They should however remove the carpets from their rooms, they stink. Air was not circulating in the room after shower so the room or the carpets have moldy smell. Location is convenient, area is safe. Bathroom was really small. Shower had partial glass coverage, so after shower, water is spilling everywhere. "

"Deceptive Photos & Poor Value – A Warning for Professionals I am extremely disappointed with my stay at The Hamilton. The marketing photos are completely deceiving. The room is tiny, congested, and has a very strong, unpleasant odor. It feels like an old, poorly maintained building rather than the premium experience advertised. To make matters worse, breakfast at Via Sophia is a total rip-off. I paid $24 (after a mandatory 18% tip and tax) for a tiny, shallow plate of oatmeal that wouldn't fill a child. Serving such small portions at these prices is insulting to professional travelers. The room smells, the food is overpriced, and the 'amenities' feel like a scam. Save your money and stay elsewhere."

"The first night we stayed there the bed was horrible. It felt like it was broken in the middle. The next morning we asked for another room. Which they gladly moved us to. That room was much better and it was on the 3rd floor which was better than the 2nd floor where you could hear the noise from the comedy club downstairs. The location was good. "

"I always check my mattress for cleanliness before settling in and unpacking. I pulled back the sheets on one bed and there was some remanent of food. I pulled back another layer and there were fluid stains. The second bed had black dust, marks and also had some stains. The toilet had feces in the hinge of the toilet. I contacted the front desk and the attendant came up and took pictures. I was moved to a different room and the sheets were cleaner. Thank you to Merlin. The next morning, it was raining and I asked for a second umbrella, the room provides one as a courtesy. I had to plead with the receptionist and explain the dirty room and that asking for an umbrella is not an inconvenience to the hotel. She rang for the manager and she told him I was the lady who changed rooms. They looked at each other and laughed. He didn't acknowledge the room change until I had asked him if he had seen the photos. He said he only glanced at it. He never asked how was my new room, he never acknowledged the dirty room. Instead he chose to small talk about university tours. I felt dismissed by management. "
