I’m usually an accommodating person but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had first off WiFi doesn’t work stayed there two days and found 20+ roaches bed was moist sheets weren’t finished drying stains on the bed lifted mattress cover to find dog hair spread through the mattress room clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a couple days stains on the floor , whole room smelled of pee also standing water in the sinks flys circle all the drains shower had mold and mildew would not recommend staying here ever once the sun goes down ghetto folks just start fighting and arguing mind you it’s past 12 and a group of folks just standing outside my window yelling just avoid the headache also deposit supposed to take 3-5 days on the 6th day called to see what was the hold up and was told that the operator just pushed it thru and I’ll have to wait another 3-4 days and of course they’ll respond to this comment and say they’ll do better but they’ve been responding to people that had the same issues as me before I stayed there and i didn’t believe the reviews or thought they fixed there issues DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID

I gave this hotel 3 stars because my stay was a mix of positives and negatives. The front desk staff was very friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and I appreciated the excellent customer service. The room itself was nice and comfortable. However, I was disappointed that there was no breakfast and the pool was closed, even though both were listed as amenities online when I booked. We still paid the full price for the room despite those amenities not being available, which was frustrating. I also noticed trash behind the bed and dresser, which made it seem like the room hadn't been cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been. Overall, the staff was great, but I hope the hotel updates its online listings when amenities are unavailable and pays closer attention to room cleanliness.

We walked into our room 504 and there was a roach crawling on the door. The lady at the front desk switch out room to the "last room available" on the 3rd floor. We walked into that room and there were two large piles of dirty laundry right when you walked in. It was late or I would have been gone after the roach and we were o lying staying 1 night but the issue was that was the last room available. Then somehow she found a room on the second floor available but it was a "suite". 2 adjoining rooms one with a bed and one with a couch. In the morning there was a little bug in one of the showers that looked like a baby roach to me. Other than that it seemed nice but I can never go back to roaches. Other weird things like the smoke detector being taped up completely.

I’ve stayed in this property years ago when it was a Marriott not that they have lost their Marriott standings. It has fallen down very bad. The shower did not work properly. It did not drain the water properly. There was stains on the carpet. The ceiling look like there was probably a leak in the roof somewhere. There was a smell in the room that I stayed in the staff was rude not knowledgeable about the area I stayed there took my niece and nephew there so that they can swim in the pool. The pool looked at dingy and dirty so we end up not even swimming in the pool. It was a really really horrible day nine out of 10 would not recommend never going back there again.

The air conditioning was average. The bathroom was not satisfactory. I wanted to take a shower, but the shower was not working. The room had a strange odor, and the pillows appeared old and worn out. I checked in at 5:00 PM and ended up leaving at 1:30 AM due to these issues.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Very attentive and always willing to help.impressive throughout and considerate of their work. They seem to go out of their way to make sure that everyone is comfortable. Highly recommended them throughout the hotel industry. Lessons could be learned. More hotels should be like them. I have been staying here for awhile because I’m waiting for my living situation is complete. I will truly miss the Chester inn and suites. It’s a pleasure writing about the hotel.

I could name a number of things, but to save you the reading, when I showered the next morning I held one of the “clean” towels up to the light, it revealed faint yellow stains from another guests piss. I dried off with my clean underwear :)

The parking was well lit, though I was a little concerned about being able to get in the back doors of the building at all hours of the night without using my key (which the sign said i'd need). It seemed quite unsecured. The hallway and elevator smelled very strongly of marijuana. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, she just apologized and did nothing else. My room itself was clean and well supplied.

Okay place to stay, no bugs, but no amenities either. Beds were comfortable but only double beds very small. Perfect for one person not two. No breakfast, pool or ice machine, pop machine not serviced. Great Chinese restaurants across the street within walking distance.. Counter staff was very kind and helpful.

This hotel was a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue is that none of the windows can be opened. The rooms have no fresh air at all, which makes it extremely uncomfortable to stay inside for a long time. It feels suffocating and unhealthy. A hotel room should at least provide proper ventilation, but this place completely fails at that. Because of this, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very poor experience.

Worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed at horrible staff the smell is inside is awful and they got roaches I stayed for 3 hours seen roaches in the bathroom I went to the front desk to request a refund the rude ass lady said no so I left and went to the Hilton around the corner which was super clean and nice I then reached out to hotels.com and they helped me get a partial refund from them they called them and handled it for me after they talked to them the staff lady still came back and lied to my face about giving me a refund I also showed her the pictures of the roaches she told me and I quote if it’s one roach we can’t refund it craziest I’ve ever heard in my life

One of the blankets on the bed was dirty. The shower water pressure was low due to most of the water coming out of the spout. The bath tub was dirty as well.

We checked in Sunday and informed the front desk we had emotional support dogs. Despite the hotel not being pet-friendly, this was approved, so we believed everything was fine. Two days later, the manager, Damajeet, approached me outside and strongly reiterated that the hotel isn’t pet-friendly. I explained again that the dogs were ESAs and offered documentation. She questioned their validity because they weren’t wearing vests (not required for ESAs). She confirmed with the front desk that we had disclosed the dogs at check-in, but still pressed the issue—asking when we were leaving, why the dogs weren’t on short leashes (they were using the bathroom in an empty lot), and said she was scared of them after approaching us herself. After returning to my room, my key no longer worked, requiring a trip to the front desk. While getting the requested paperwork, she called and rushed me. When I brought the letter, she barely reviewed it and seemed unsure what she was looking at. When I asked if everything was resolved, I received a reluctant “yes.” The rest of the stay felt tense and uncomfortable. It felt like she was looking for a reason to put us out, though we had done nothing wrong. Positives: friendly front desk staff, comfortable beds, quiet location. Negatives: no breakfast, pool closed, one shared microwave, bathroom ceiling damage. Overall, the room was fine, but the experience with mgmt made the stay unwelcoming and had my anxiety on high alert.

Beds were clean. floors were not. I could write my name in the dust. Employees were nice. Pool was broke.

While the people who checked me in were friendly, the state of the hotel was not good. There was water damage in and on the walls in multiple places including my room which had stains from ceiling to halfway down the wall. The state of the hallway carpets did not look as if they had been cleaned in quite some time and indeed, the towels left outside a room door on my floor on the day of my check-in were there when I checked out. The floors in my room had not been vacuumed and debris from the ceiling was in various places. The couch in my room was also stained. The furniture was quite worn and beaten up as well. The bed, however was comfortable. Lastly, the website marketing was misleading. The descriptions did not accurately describe the room and the pictures showed rooms that were in better state, with furniture that was not present in the room, and in general a cleaner condition. Overall, the cost of the room did not match what was provided in terms of written and visual information. In general, I don't write reviews, but I know I would not stay at this hotel again and I would recommend people look elsewhere for accommodations. There were better options in the same general area which looked to be in better shape.
