"The staff were superb! The rooms AC worked well but the rooms themselves could have been a bit cleaner (lotsbof dust on the lamp shades) overall good experience."

"Stayed here when this was a grand hotel. It has gone downhill. Check-in staff was rude. Concierge level was in name only. Best restaurant had closed. No bathrobes in room. Remote for TV didn’t work properly. Not sufficient covers on bed. Their top level room felt like a Motel 6."

"First of all there is no gift shop in this hotel! The staff was rude and not considerate to an issue that took place at 12:20 am. Secondly the hotel needs a big upgrade like the bathroom tub was The only thing good was the pool was heated but everything else is a big disappointment.Sorry but not sorry I don’t recommend this hotel at all! "The Westin is the perfect place to stay! From the location in French Quarters to the comfort in the room, you will not be disappointed with what the Westin has to offer. I will say that the food options are limited and does not give a wide variety of choices, including the breakfast buffet (same food choices daily), but overall, if you want to be in the heart of French Quarters, this is an ideal location. Not to the mention, this hotel sits directly inside the mall- Canal Place- take the elevator down into Saks 5th Ave and other luxury shopping stores for your convenience. I will definitely consider staying at The Westin again while visiting New Orleans. "

"Nice breakfast. Safe and secure parking but VERY tight spaces. Good luck if you have a big vehicle. Hotel was within walking distance to all the French Quarter has to offer. We felt safe at the location."

"Beautiful courtyard pool that’s open till 10 pm. Love this hotel. Right near all the French quarter action, but peaceful inside. Lobby is pretty with lots of comfortable seating. Balcony room was spacious and the balcony was fun to sit out on to enjoy either the quiet mornings or night time action. Very good bar with excellent acts every night. Highly recommend! "
