"I was travelling on my own and found all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was spotless, with very good quality bedding and a comfy mattress. I didn’t have breakfast, so can’t rate that. I had dinner in the Brasserie and thought it excellent value. Would definitely stay this hotel again."

"We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then to bother Victoria. Never mind!
Comfy bed, plenty of ventilation (which we need, even in January!). No shower as such; a bath with a shower head, so me & my husband held the head for each other! Different, but not a problem. Breakfast tasty. Really looked after by Victoria in the morning, who ensured we had enough food & drink.
Would definitely recommend. "
