Parkmore Hotel & Leisure Club, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, near to Yarm and Preston Park Museum. Also it was only half an hour's drive to Saltburn by the Sea. Everything was lovely, breakfast, room, staff etc, but the Health Spa was amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it!"
"Very accessible, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ben and Jackie! Breakfast was excellent and the room was, clean and well maintained and we would definitely come back."
"I didn’t like being charged by you and then having to pay again when we got to the property !! I therefore suggest you refund me the amount I paid, before I ever use your services again !!!"
"The shower in room 7 did not work, it just dribbled. The room was noisy as it is on a busy road. It was very hot and we were very grateful for the fan when we enquired.
There is no parking at the hotel but there is a car park nearby."
"This is an old-fashioned, sixties-style B&B that's a bit dated but that did not affect our stay because everything was really clean. The bedding smelled lovely and the bed was very comfortable. It was incredibly quiet with no road noise. The decor and carpets are a bit old but well maintained and the carpets were well vacuumed. The bathroom is shared but there is an extra toilet in case it's occupied (it was always free when we needed it) and bathroom was kept really clean. Janet was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again. There's no hairdryers in the rooms but there is a kettle and chips, but you need to bring tea and coffee, which is perfectly reasonable when the rooms are so competitively priced. Overall, I would recommend it"
"Large room very clean, nice peaceful surroundings. Fridge very handy. 2 single put-you-up beds in room for some reason in addition to the double bed. Never saw the owners. No breakfast as advertised on Hotels.com (& also on the sign on main road it's listed as a B&B) but plenty of places in Yarm to eat & we had a lovely evening meal at the Fox Covert pub up the lane - would advise booking as packed. A little coffee table would be handy
