"Lovely vibrant period property "

"The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. "

"From the min we arrived staff were helpful & polite, our room was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable (best sleep i.v had in a while), room temp was lovely & warm & easily adjusted, food was delicious & good value. Shower was nice, good water pressure. Yes we would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay."

El restaurante sirve comida de calidad y las raciones son enormes. Nos atendieron estupendamente. La zona es preciosa. Esta vez nuestra estancia tuvo que ser corta pero esperamos volver para disfrutar más tiempo del lugar. "

"lovely clean warm room with large bathroom. Well provisioned with water ,teas and coffees. Very attentive staff who made sure we were fed and watered. We have now used the Black bull twice for stay overs and cant fault it. Easy parking, great bar and tasty ,quality food."
