Check in was a nightmare. I could not understand the person who checked me in. Half of the TV stations did not work right and the selection of stations is terrible.

The front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The room however was dark. Lampshades were ripped, bathroom light didnt even work. The tv speaker sounded like it was busted.

The toilet seat has chips in it and is loose. There is no coffee maker in the room or in the lobby. The refrigerator needs to be defrosted. Heater is dirty. The step into the bathroom is a tripping hazard.

Place is a little dirty, greasy handprints in shower stall, it looked like there's either vomit or poop on the floor between the nightstand and the bed and when I went to take a shower the washcloth looked like somebody had washed their ass with it - probably because there was barely enough TP to blow your nose I reserved and paid for the room through Expedia, and when I arrived, I was informed that there was an additional $100 deposit basically a damaged deposit that I didn't read about on Expedia , there's probably something in the fine print about that but who knows

There were rates outside. However, it was expedias fault that at 3am we were left rimless and looking for a room for the night and ended up without a room sleeping in the car to go to our conference at 8am with no sleep.

Front counter staff was extremely rude. Nowhere when booking mentions the $100 deposit they require at check in. The room smelled really strong and the bathtub had mold and was peeling bad at the seams. Will not stay here again

This hotel was the most dirtiest and unprofessional place i have ever stayed at. Staff was rude. Charged my card $100 after i had already paid for my room. The carpet on staircase leading to the upstairs was disgusting and dirty. Our room smelled so bad. I will never stay here again.

Horrible! Dirty! Bad unsafe area!
Absolutely the most horrible hotel I have ever seen! The bathroom was disgustingly dirty, light bulbs blown out, we were in Columbus for a concert. We got to the hotel and use the restroom. Put our stuff back in my car because we did not trust the neighborhood that we were in once the concert got back and decided that we could not stay there when they were people outside the building at 12:30 at night not acting as a person should. We felt our safety was in jeopardy at this point, and between the unsafe conditions and the condition of the room and hotel this was not worth any money to stay. We didn’t even stay, we checked out and drove 3 hours home! I will be asking for my money back this morning!

Worst Stay Ever
Was there with my family for one night. Visiting the Ohio State Fair. This was the worst stay i ever experienced . Reserved 2 rooms the room my daughter had was filthy , dirty bed linen and tub was filthy. So she was moved to another room. Now this room the toilet was not working properly attendant came to repair it, then at 2:00 in the morning the toilet started overflowing flooding the floors. Now she is moved to 3rd room, and when taking a shower the tub is not draining properly so your standing in water while showering. Had to asked for a discount due to all the inconvenience and only received 15 dollars off. This place is not Handicapped Accessible there are no elevators for upper floors you have to walk and carry your luggage up about12 stairs. The Hallways carpet is extremely dirty needs to be replaced. This was my first time ever staying here and also my last Will not patronize this Red Roof Inn again.

The bathroom in my room was falling apart. The bathroom sink is about to fall off the wall. The caulking is globbed on in many messy layers like my 7 year old did it. The carpet in the hall and stairway are dirty and visibly worn. The TV in my room didn't work. I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY $100 DEPOSIT BACK! I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 2-3 BUISINESS DAYS!
