I would say this is a budget hotel, but price high for it. Not in a great area, only a short walk though to the restaurants. Room was clean and tidy but basic.

For the location and price, this was a great property. The room was actually more spacious than we expected and quite comfortable. The breakfast was simple but quite nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great! Just a few minutes from either train station and Lake Como itself.

It’s close to train station where you can take bus C10 and C30 to go to Menaggio and Bellagio. Bus tickets can be bought in the cafe next to the entrance of the train station. There are also a lot of shops/restaurants/supermarkets within walking distance.

Not recommended - Central but not comfortable.

Conveniently located hiotel close to the train station and a short walk to shops/cafes/the lake. The downsides are that the hotel is noisey, the beds are very firm and the hotel will charge you if you even so much as lift a bottle of water from the fridge in the room for more than 10 seconds as stated on a notice in the room. Breakfast was poor to average. Id not stay here again but fine for 2 nights on a tight budget.

PROS: - The cleanliness, the bathroom and Bedroom were very modern and neat. Staff were great, very attentive and accomodating. The Breakfast was excellent. Room included a safe. Cons: The AC struggled to cool the room effectively. Room 105.

Good for train stopover

250m from station made for a very easy stopover. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The holder for the hand held shower head was broken but this could be easily fixed and still able to take a shower so no real problem. Breakfast simple but adequate. Manager friendly, helful and spoke English. Close to old town bars and restaurants. Overall it suited our purpose for a brief stopover well.

It's opposite to train stain station, and 15 minutes from the ferry.breakfast all good, coffee tasty. Price wise you get exactly what paid for.Room small, beds comfy, pillows comfy. Only downside was the smell from bathroom, but i think it's all to do with sewerage problems overall in area. Dorr closed - problem solved👍 Would comeback. Workers great.
