“Very warm welcome from host. Very easy to find, property lovely, comfortable with all amenities you could possibly need. Close drive to restaurants, supermarkets and places of beauty and tranquility. Stone's throw from Glastonbury. Totally recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“Spacious and clean”

“Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. “A fabulous, unique property….. highly recommend”

“David is a saint! It was like staying with family if family isn't overbearing or meddlesome. And it's a super comfy bed. The location is about 10-15 minute walk into town center or the entrance to the Chalice Well or footpath up the Tor. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“Great location. Good facilities…”

“Very pleasant stay ,nice rooms and view ,good parking and excellent food”

“Beautiful Town, and a wonderful, old hotel. Breakfast was probably one of the best we've ever had. Really loved our 1 night stay and will certainly be back for longer.”

“Lovely place to stay and very welcoming with great restaurant”

“Lovely staff.”

“We had a lovely stay in a charming old coach house. Staff really friendly and helpful, food was really good. The suite we stayed in was adequate, clean and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.”

“We had a lovely stay whilst visiting wookey hole. Lovely room, it was an ajoining room so great for families. Comfy big bed and great home cooked breakfast. Would defo stay again”

“The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room.”

“Room was clean, lots of parking, could hear the room next to use when they used their bathroom”

“The room was excellent, though the bed felt too soft for my preference (not a criticism). The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi and signal were poor; we rely heavily on such services nowadays... No hotel parking was available. I would return at any time.”
