"Lovely hotel. Pool was a nice perk. Tavern was out of an entree, a side, and several salads and only had 1 non-meat option for vegetarians. Parking for guests is 2 blocks away. Apparently the only staff at checkout was also the valet: that led to a big line at morning checkout. Pls hire another person to valet."

"Hotel staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered and super helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Pillows were a bit lumpy but not awful. They could use a warmer comforter on the bed. Other room amenities were OK and well maintained, but the common area in the lobby seemed rather sad; there was some cereal and coffee and it didn't feel inviting -- but the coffee was surprisingly good. We had some noisy neighbors who kept slamming their door and talking loudly outside ours. Overall, I feel this motel was overpriced, but still a way better value than anything else in the area."

"I know there were mixed reviews about this establishment however it was very nice. I went with my mother for the weekend. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The parking at the hotel is $15/night. The Wifi is complimentary as well as the breakfast. It is maybe a 5 minute walk to Pratt District and other areas of downtown Hartford. The room was clean and comfortable. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which was nice. For those that are light sleepers you could hear people outside your room but it did not matter to me. I would stay here again."
