“I was working in the area and needed somewhere with a gym and pool. Found this gem and I wasn't disappointed.
The gym was great for a hotel and the pool area was amazing.
Everything here that was needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The restaurant and food were superb and again the staff were great.
Couldn't fault this place for a first visit.

“This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

“Didn’t expect too much as was overnight stay for early ferry trip for family of 6 with little research. Staff were welcoming and hotel modern and room very clean. They got up extra early to give us continental breakfast. Great location, nice bar , recommended! Far exceeded our expectations Thankyou.”
