"We had a very comfortable 3-night stay while visiting family in the area. Loved the spacious breakfast area, & it needs to be spacious because it's a very large hotel! Comfortable beds, quiet room, nice towels, & good breakfast. Only negatives were that some of the desk staff tended to look at the screen & speak too softly when talking to us, instead of engaging directly with us, and also charging $4 for a 12-oz can of soda seemed like a ridiculous & unnecessary mark-up!"

"When I arrived I had to wait for housekeeping to finish with my room, I then had to drive back home because they needed a physical credit card. It’s too hot to go back & forth, I ended up leaving my bags at the hotel when I went back home. When I came back I was given the wrong room. It was my first time here so when I was given a room with just a living room you could imagine how confused I was, I felt silly that I couldn’t figure out what door led to my bedroom. I was in my room for an hour or two until I finally called the front desk, they sent someone to tell me I was given the wrong room, I had to struggle with my bags again, I had everything set up already so I had to pack up again. Due to so many mistakes they were kind enough to give us a courtesy meal & a room upgrade. If there were no mistakes I’m sure we would’ve loved it but we just like it, probably won’t be back"

"It is a beautiful historical building! Of course it's old, its the first skyscraper in Dallas! Could use some minor updates, but overall, we loved it."
