We enjoyed a two night stay there recently. We had the room with an outing seating area which definitely made it more spacious and as the weather was reasonably good we sat outside quite a bit. The swimming pool was a brilliant experience and all in all we had a great time. Re the breakfast for the vegetarian option it would have been good to have a few more options eg vegan sausages or avocado please

Breakfast has been scaled down in selection, quality & service and seemed disorganised. Also, as a vegan, there is very little available on the buffet table though I acknowledge they offer a cooked vegan breakfast which is good if you want hot. The granola which I like had run out & I couldn't find a member of staff free to inform them so went without. It would be a thoughtful touch if biscuits in the room were dairy & egg free just to cater fr a wider clientele.

Me and my fiance stayed here for our anniversary and we loved it! The spa was amazing 10/10 but the only detail to note is that spa is separate and you have to pay a fee of £50 per person which would be worth it - we actually got 2 hour slots for free as the main pool steam room and sauna were out of use so we was super happy we got the spa for free, staff were really helpful and polite, breakfast was good and it was included in our stay. The only problem was a few stains on the sofa and chair in our room and wet carpet near the balcony but other than that we was really happy with the whole stay

Hotel looks great and has amazing views, food is really good especially the breakfast that’s included in the price. Staff all very friendly. Room was definitely “cosy” but still had enough space for 2 people. Few downsides are the walls are very thin and can hear everything from other rooms and corridors and the car park is very small if you are planning on going out and about while staying would recommend leaving your car in the car park as the spaces get taken quickly, we came back and was left with nowhere to park a few times. Other than that we would definitely come again.

On arrival our room hadn't been cleaned. The reception staff could not have been more apologetic and gave us an upgraded room. The facilities there are superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The issue with our room is the only reason for 4 stars.

Lovely hotel , beautiful room, very clean. nice tea, coffee and biscuit selection and locally made mugs nice touch Enjoyed the pool , luckily remembered my own flip flops to walk across there. Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept. Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared. We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't really go the whole 2 nights we were there and the furnishings felt tired and grubby - the carpet was stained and the vanity chair was so stained we actually removed it from the room. This said, we would 100% stay at the hotel again, but would choose a different room.
