โLovely cosy two room b&b with very welcoming and friendly hosts.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay whether it be short or long.
The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices.
If we go to any of the surrounding areas in the future, Toms of Tregaron will be the first place we contact in the hope of securing a room.โ
โGreat hosts, snowdon bedroom, beautifully comfy bed, bathroom small but fine for myself, shower toilet basin, dont get them mixed up. Tasty breakfast, i tried welsh cockles ( heated) never had that before, lovely. Comfortable stay for a couple of nights โ
โA truly lovely property. The breakfast is good and filling. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely be back for future visits. Beautiful hotel.โ
โAbsolutely loved my stay at The Black Lion Royal Hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless and clearly very well looked after. The people at the reception are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The English breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. Plus, the hotelโs pub has such a cute, cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!โ
โThis is a small hotel located within easy walking distance of "downtown." It is basic but nice and the staff are great. There is a restaurant/pub across the parking lot where you check in. There is also a park with a walking trail behind the hotel that leads to the city centre. โ
โExcellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable.
Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, ยฃ7 for a day.
In all, an excellent break. โ
โI had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated.
There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up.
The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast.
The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous.
Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible.โ
โWe as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024.
We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect.
We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). The farmhouse had generous sized bedrooms and two living spaces as well as the very well equiped kitchen diner. There was a travel cot and high chair available too (bring...
โExcellent place to stay.
Everything was detailed and informed prior to arrival.
Clean room with all required amenities provided alongside and an good ensuite bathroom.
Free wifi in property and Functional TV with Freesat TV.โ
โSuch a friendly staff. Small white room but we expected that, comfy bed, broken chair. View over sea fab, but windows suffer condensation and only one opened, so very hot. Key to door jammed locking us in but staff so helpful . Needs a new lock. Would we stay there again? yes we would, outdoor bar, coffee and cake excellent and happy hour. A quirky place with a small quirky cafe attached. We had a lovely time.โ
โBelle chambre, pas de rรฉception et le bar associรฉ est fermรฉ, dommage on se sent seul. Hygiรจne nickel ๐
La salle de bain est propre mais datรฉe, ainsi que le verrou de la porte ร revoir.โ
