A stocked and very clean Kitchen was great, Deborah the owner is very nice, she takes great pride in making her property beautiful. Full disclosure there is a bar on the first floor so you hear people talking till late in the evening. If that doesn’t bother you the property is perfect. We would stay again.”

“What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting...

“Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Das Ambiente und das Frühstück sind besonders gut! Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zum Flughafen sind wir auch zu Fuß gegangen (ca. 45 Minuten). Einziges kleines Manko: Das Dachfenster im Bad konnte man nicht öffnen, also mussten wir das ganze Zimmer mit offener Badtür lüften nach dem Duschen. “We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average.
