"This place has a great location. Just outside of the heart of la Fortuna. It was safe, peaceful and we had everything we needed to make our own meals. It is a gated home/parking which was unique. It was cozy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Good bang for your buck. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!"

"Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! "
"We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. The rain also sounded amazing on the roof at night. They also have private access to a river! Perfect location if you are looking for a stay in nature that still has the comfort of a resort. "

"This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Towels and bed linens are nice, beds comfortable, cozy living area with TV and lovely patio with greenery all around where you get to see wildlife as well. It felt very private yet very close to everything, about 5 minute drive to restaurants and stores.
The host was very responsive and self check in a breeze. Internet worked great.

"Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"
