The rooms are spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with lovely views that make you feel completely connected to the environment. The staff truly make the experience exceptional: warm, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations, tours, and transportation. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning, and the restaurant is excellent for both lunch and dinner. The location is perfect — close enough to town and attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. "This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Towels and bed linens are nice, beds comfortable, cozy living area with TV and lovely patio with greenery all around where you get to see wildlife as well. It felt very private yet very close to everything, about 5 minute drive to restaurants and stores. The host was very responsive and self check in a breeze. Internet worked great. We highly recommend Villa Escondida. "
