"Splurged for a nice hotel for a few days in La fortuna. This place was wonderful. Great location a few minutes out of town but still restaurants and things to do nearby. This is a beautiful property with lots of wildlife and a peaceful river you can walk down to. You can see the volcano clearly from the pool and front area. Feel more like a resort than a hotel. The staff was very attentive and they all remembered my name. Great breakfast as well, I would stay here again and will recommend it to friends. "

"Rooms were clean. One of the bar tenders was wonderful, but the rest of the staff seemed disinterested. Breakfast was okay, but would recommend going elsewhere to eat. This place works wonders in a pinch. "

"Hotel Los Lagos is the best hot springs resort at Arenal. The price is reasonable, the hot springs are great, the slide is fun, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is helpful and friendly. I cannot say a bad thing about this resort, everything was great. This was my 2nd visit this year, and, I have visited this resort, maybe 8 or 10 times over the years."

"I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Everyone was so hospitable at front reception, and the kitchen staff and sweet Wilberth, Raul, Christian etc., they were so hospitable and kind, making sure we were well taken care of. This place is a hidden gem and also so close to amazing places to visit. The rooms were immaculate and we had a huge king bed that was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Great location, there are even a few sloths known to frequent the trees near the hotel and parking lot. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Rooms were spacious and would recommend getting one with a volcano view for the balcony. I would definitely stay here again."

"Pura Vida!!! I absolutely loved my stay here. There was more than enough room for me and I am looking forward to coming back with my children for a stay. The entire grounds are beautiful and they have so many added value for you to truly take in and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. All the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. The pools are so pretty and clean, hammocks, nice seating areas on the porch. I have no complaints. 12/10 recommend."

"Wow sur tout. Le personnel serviable, gentil et nous donne de bons conseils. La chambre est magnifique avec la petite piscine agréable quand il fait chaud. Propreté parfaite. Stationnement sécurisé avec une barrière avec code. Déjeuner juste à 4 minutes à pied, dans un endroit pittoresques dans la jungle, avec sentier. J’y retournerais absoluement"

"Cleaning staff was great, the space is well thought out for the region and weather. The concierge helped me with navigating travel and booking activities. They set up various activity options and booked them all for me. Bauma staff, services and stay was wonderful. I would stay here again happily."
