“Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) ”
“Wir hatten eine Familienunterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern sowie eigenem Jacuzzi. Es gab zusätzlich eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen in einer wunderbarer Gartenanlage.
Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und zu jederzeit hilfsbereit.

The property was well maintained and the rates we booked at were fairly priced. Location very well situated to many different ideal destinations. “The location in the heart of La Fortuna town is a winner! It’s also in an intimate neighborhood setting. It’s perfectly clean. Very well kept as you’ll see in the photos. Front desk staff always with a smile. Breakfast was made to order and good. Typical Costa Rican and familiar options. Small portion but filling. Ask for more if you wish.

“OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!)
And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking.

“Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”
“Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car.
House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need.

“If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town.

“This hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It is about a 3-4 min drive to the restaurants in town. Daily breakfast was very good, the spa was marvelous! We went twice for massages, the pool and separate jacuzzi’s were great. ”
